Protein Smoothies, Three Ways

As far as simple breakfasts go, it doesn’t get much easier than a smoothie. With the right ingredients, you can get all the essentials from your morning mix that you would normally get from a full meal, and all in a convenient tumbler or bowl. Read on for one of our favorite delicious picks that are sure to give you just the right boost to jumpstart your morning (or really whenever else you choose to have them).

½ cup unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup pomegranate seeds
½ cup fresh raspberries
½ cup fresh blueberries
½ cup fresh black berries
1 scoop WellPath vanilla protein mix


Combine ingredients in a blender and serve.

Katie Cavuto, dietician and chef, gives us one of her favorite smoothie bowls, which totally transforms smoothies from an on-the-go option to the perfect pick for everyone, regardless of how crammed, or not-so-crammed, your morning routine may be. Not to mention, the chai makes for a pleasant surprise.

1 banana, divided

1 cup frozen peaches

1 tbsp almond butter

1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk

1/4 tsp chai spice

Water to thin

2 tbsp blueberries

1 tbsp sliced almonds

2 tbsp WellPath Vanilla Protein Mix


In a blender, combine ½ the banana with the peaches, almond butter, almond milk and chai spice. Blend to combine to a yogurt-like consistency. Add water to thin as needed.

Poor the contents of the blender into a bowl and top with the remaining banana, sliced blueberries and sliced almonds.

8 ounces of almond milk

3 ice cubes

1 cucumber, with peel

1 kiwi, peeled

½ handful, Swiss chard (frozen if possible)

1 scoop of WellPath Vanilla Shake Mix

1 tsp chia seeds

1 tsp pumpkin seeds


Combine ingredients in a blender and serve.
