As all of us know all too well, life is a rollercoaster. There are invariably up’s and down’s – we all go through challenges that result in detours – a change at work, a family member needs us or some other personal point of inflection. The tectonic plates of our lives are constantly shifting and oftentimes, despite our best intentions, our nutrition and fitness fall to the wayside. Too often the default response is to feel guilty, which in-turn can turn to feelings of self loathing and inadequacy – all of which steer us further off track and away from living our best and healthiest lives.
