Grocery shopping has become something of an acquired skill in the face of organic products that leave us wondering whether or not we’re making a terrible decision for our bodies by going conventional.  For instance, is paying $4.99 for a pound of organic bell peppers, as opposed to forgoing the organic version and getting it for half that price, really necessary? Actually, yes. While being healthy doesn’t always mean having to spring for organic produce as some fruits and veggies tend to retain more pesticides than others. That means that it’s important to know the difference between what’s worth splurging on and where you can save yourself the trouble (which is really just code for the big bucks).
