Activewear Designs On Our Radar

The changing of the seasons, especially to fall, eludes the need for switching things up.  Whether it’s trying a new workout class, visiting a recently opened restaurant, launching a new initiative at work, or shopping for new clothes, the options are boundless! We’re interested in doing all of the above, but for now, we’ve rounded up some of the latest designs in activewear that we’re vying to put into our wardrobe rotation.

For the Ladies

When you work out, you tend to feel more confident about your physique.  The downtown cool designs by Michi are probably the sexiest and edgiest pieces you’ll find amongst activewear options.  With mesh inlets, exposed shoulders and banded tops, rest assured, you won’t look basic to other gym goers.

If you’re a fan of Mara Hoffman‘s colorful printed dresses, then you’ll definitely want to check out her new activewear collection of leggings, tanks and sports bras featuring rainbow colored, kaleidoscope designs.  Bonus, you can get a matching yoga mat that you’ll be happy to tote around with you.

Sure, we’ve all heard that moisturizing your skin, drinking plenty of water, and eating certain foods can help with your skin’s health and visible appearance.  Now, there are pants that claim to improve the wearer’s skin appearance while offering the utmost level of comfort.  The Vimmia X line of pants are composed of yarn infused with technology and bioactive minerals that help with thermal homogenization and blood mircocirculation, which means that they help the wearer maintain a more consistent core temperature.

For the Guys

It’s football season and whether you’re running outdoors or training indoors, the Nike Pro Combat line is sure to offer you performance benefits and comfort.  While your workout is challenging, what you wear can definitely be fun.  We like the Men’s Football Tights in camo and chevron designs.

Whether you’re working out or hanging out, Outdoor Voices offers comfortable yet still performance-driven sweats, shorts and tees.  The designs are no frills but definitely not just your run of the mill activewear pieces.  In particular, their Runningman Sweats are tapered so they are sleek enough in appearance where you look polished in them and can definitely wear them out to walk around town on the weekends.

Now that you’ve got the right clothes for the workout, it’s time to focus on nutrition. Read more about WellPath’s customized nutritional solutions here.
