Try semi-permanent dye for better color.

If the color of your hair right now is what’s making it dull, then going to your local drugstore and purchasing semi-permanent hair dye may be a great option for you. As shocking as this may be, semi-permanent hair dye is a lot healthier for your hair than going to your salon and getting it permanently dyed a certain color. The boxed hair dye is less harsh on your hair cells while applying, and it lacks ammonia so your roots will not grow in as fast. Instead, using temporary hair dye adds tons of shine to your locks and makes the color look new and fantastic! However, be careful how many times you are washing your hair. Every time you use shampoo on your hair, the color fades a little more. Overall, semi-permanent hair dye lasts about 20 washes before your natural color will start coming back.
